My neighbour is an old Chinese medicine practitioner who is 85 years old and my parents always chat with him and have asked him for advice on how to nourish the heart. The old herbalist said that you should work and rest regularly, not stay up late, go to bed early and get up early; you should also eat a healthy diet, eat less food high in oil and sugar and salt, and eat more of 3 kinds of food, your heart will be stronger than a young person, strengthen your body and improve your immune system.

One, beef Beef is rich in protein, vitamin B, iron, potassium, magnesium, zinc and other nutrients, can nourish the blood and Qi, nourish the heart and calm the mind, strengthen the body, good for the body.

[Cold Beef] Prepare beef tenderloin, onion, ginger, garlic, coriander, chilli, onion, salt, soy sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, chilli powder, cooked sesame seeds, balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil and corn starch.

1: Thinly slice the beef tenderloin, scrub it in water, squeeze out the water and put it in a bowl, add salt, soy sauce, cooking wine, oyster sauce, pepper, corn starch and cooking oil and mix well, marinate for 10 minutes.

Pour an appropriate amount of oil into the pot and pour it into the large bowl when it is 60 to 70 percent hot. Stir well with chopsticks, then add salt, soy sauce, oyster sauce and balsamic vinegar and stir well.

3: Boil water in a pot, put the marinated beef into the pot, skim off the froth, cook until browned and drain, put into a plate, pour in the seasoned sauce, sprinkle with shredded onion and chopped coriander, toss evenly and serve.

Peanuts As the saying goes, “red is for the heart”. Peanuts are rich in nutrients, including protein and unsaturated fatty acids, which can remove waste from the blood and have the effect of significantly lowering total and harmful cholesterol, thus protecting the heart.

Celery with Peanut Rice Prepare peanut rice, celery, carrots, salt, soy sauce, chicken essence, sugar, chili oil, sesame oil, garlic cloves, pepper, star anise, cinnamon, allspice.
